CO2 LITE IN DRAPER, UTAH
Real Resurfacing Without a Week Off
The same fractional CO2 platform at gentler settings, delivered as a short series. Progressive textural improvement that fits around a working week.
THE LOW-DOWNTIME PATH TO BETTER TEXTURE
Downtime is the single most common reason patients who want resurfacing never book it. They have the sun damage, they have the crepey texture around the eyes, they have priced it — and they cannot find a week in the calendar where looking visibly healed is acceptable. CO2 Lite exists for exactly that patient.
It uses the same fractional CO2 technology as full resurfacing, dialled to gentler parameters and spread across a short series of sessions. Each session creates a milder collagen-remodeling response with a correspondingly milder recovery — typically redness and a sandpapery texture for a couple of days rather than a visible healing process measured in a week. Because the response is cumulative across the series, the end result builds over months rather than arriving at once.
The honest comparison is this: CO2 Lite will not match a single full fractional treatment for deep acne scarring or severe sun damage. What it will do is deliver meaningful, visible textural improvement without forcing you out of your life, and for moderate concerns that is frequently the better trade. Kelly will tell you at consultation which category your skin actually falls into. If full CO2 is what your concern warrants, she will say so rather than selling you a longer series that will not get you there.
CO2 Lite also works well as a maintenance strategy after full resurfacing, and it shows up on our monthly specials regularly — recent promotions have included packages of three sessions. Memberships let you bank toward a series monthly, and financing through Cherry and CareCredit is available if you would rather spread the cost.

Common questions
CO2 LITE QUESTIONS
Choosing between CO2 Lite and full resurfacing
Typically redness and a sandpapery texture for a day or two per session rather than the multi-day visible healing of full fractional CO2. You receive a specific recovery description at consultation so you can plan around it.
CO2 Lite is delivered as a short series because the collagen response is cumulative. Your session count depends on your skin and your goal, and you will be given that number with the price before starting.
It can improve mild textural scarring. For deeper atrophic scars, full fractional CO2 — sometimes sequenced with Profound RF microneedling — is the more appropriate route, and we will tell you which one your scarring calls for.
Skin type and pigment history are assessed at consultation and settings are matched to them. Gentler parameters generally carry lower pigment risk than full resurfacing, but the assessment still happens and pre-conditioning is recommended where warranted.
As with all resurfacing, autumn through winter is preferable. Healing skin is photosensitive and Utah combines high altitude with a lot of sunny days. Sun protection discipline matters regardless of season.
Yes. Many patients use CO2 Lite as maintenance to extend the results of a full resurfacing treatment. We will build that schedule into your plan.
